    Description

1852 One Penny,  Quebec Bank Token. Province Du Canada, Deux Sous. BR 528  H&W# 215. This coin is in beautiful  AU condition ,not many have survived in this condition, raw and uncleaned, and if you can find one, check the price!  Called the "Habitant" token because the tokens show a Canadian habitant in traditional winter costume on the obverse. The detail on the Habitant is so fine on his face, shoes, and even the grass by his feet. On the reverse you can see the sail lines on the Masts and the waves in the water. Even the Beaver's paws are sharp. Shipped with USPS First Class. Shipped to USA only. This is a large copper coin, in 1852 the Quebec Bank, was allowed to issue pennies and half pennies with government sanction the Quebec bank  issued 240,000 pennies and 480,000 half pennies.  This is the coin you will receive should you win the bid. Thanks for looking and good luck, usacanman.
