    Description

    Antique 1840s FRENCH PORCELAIN  Set of 6 Hand-Painted Dessert Dishes
    GOLD-RIMMED Monogrammed 'D'
    Given to me by an old aristocratic woman from Berlin
    and she got it from her Grandmother, so it is from the early 1800s or even 1700s.
    MOst likely Parisian- as I asked an expert.
    Measures 8 3/8" across.
    Scalloped edges Gold with three thin beautiful magenta lines between two gold rim boarders
    Some of the dishes are deeper than others attesting to the handmade nature of the set
    back side identity shows a '68' on some and a '23' on another.
