    Description

    I have a very nice & old W. Butcher gouge chisel for sale. I have cleaned this chisel, and it will improve with more work and a good sharpen. The length is 15 7/8" long and 1" wide. The handle is in very good shape for its age... it feels great in the hand. The steel feels really old and will take a good edge. The edge needs a good clean up, I do not think this has been used in a very long time... some sandpaper wrapped around a dowel would clean this face up well...This is a really beautiful old chisel and harder to find in this condition.... Made in England with good clear stamps... this is a nice one Thank you for looking.
