Description
MR. LUCKY -- "Mr. Lucky" three times, and a pair of dice three times. Not a registered casino mold. Rather recent vintage. Throughout
the 1980's Irving Cohen, sold and rented these chips and gaming equipment from his home in Laurelton NY, a section of NYC in Long Island. He relocated to Florida and recently passed away. Bill Borland's World-Wide Casino Exchange, Las Vegas NV, was selling these 60 grain "durable plastic" (nice clay feel, anyway) chips in 1990. The chips I have for sale have no denomination on the back – white, red, green, and I also have some Roulette chips.
These are lightly used and some are a little dirty but most are in excellent condition and were not used much. The edges are a little rough still so you know they were not played with much. That was one thing with Lucky's chips. I am sure he made those one by one and the edges had some "burrs" and there are manufacturing marks on side and face. All come in a leather carrying case.
There are approximately 30 cases with approximately 1000 chips per case.
At $.06 it is a steal, since they originally went for $.50 to $.75 each.
The shipping weight of each case is 14 pounds.
The buyer will arrange for shipping.
You can either pick them up for free or you can arrange to have them shipped (I will facilitate their pickup). We could make arrangements to "meet in the middle" within a reasonable distance.
Black – 200, Green – 1600, Red – 8600, White – 20100, Roulette (multicolored pastel) – 1000
Total - 31,500
31,500 is an estimation, I did not take the time to count them all.
