Jefferson Davis Steel Engraving

A very fine steel engraving of a youthful Jefferson Davis, approximately 5 7/8" x 9 1/2" in size, engraved by George E. Perine, New York.  George Edward Perine (1837-1885) was a noted artist, engraver and publisher. His work was noted for its extremely clear images, almost photographic in quality.
