Longaberger VERY SPECIAL FEATURE BASKET called "DISCOVERY BASKET 1492-1992".
NOTE:  This offer is for the BASKET , FABRIC LINER AND....PLASTIC PROTECTOR.
This very special basket was introduced to celebrate Christopher Columbus discovering America in 1492.  Basket is dated on the bottom 1992!!  Basket was purchased, shown at a few home shows, then stored in our smoke-free home with my basket inventory.  It has been stored in a closet and out of the sunlight so the color is bright and NEW.  This basket was a "keepsake" and never "used" by anyone.  The basket measures approx. 5 1/2" dia. x 3 1/4" tall.  The fabric liner is in Navy blue with Gold Sailing Ships. The original basket did not come with a protector, but later Longaberger introduced the melody basket with a  protector that works with the Discovery, so I added the plastic protector at that time.  This is a complete set.  The brass tag is like NEW (no tarnish).   Very nice basket.   I have only one of these...so grab it while you can!!   Shipping is .50 in lower 48 states only.   I no longer ship to APO/FPO.   Please check my other auctions for additional products being listed the next few weeks on ebay including several recently retired items.  Own it Today
