Extremely rare variant in near mint condition and a very handsome WWII Era United States Military Academy Cadets Full Dress Uniform USA Army, Navy.  An attractive and splendid example of US uniform regalia designed after a much older by gone era.  This is not the common grey cadet jacket seen all the time.  Besides this nice dress jacket with tails, you also get his original uniform pants as well.  The styling, the cut and the design of this uniform goes back to the 17th and 18th century America and British Officers regalia.  The brass buttons are also rare as they are all nearly complete round orbs.  There are some moth hole issues but they do not distract or take away from the overall nice appearance of the piece.  You would be hard pressed to find a more handsome tunic in finer condition with its original trousers.  It would make an impressive and wonderful display piece.  Again, this is an extremely rare and very hard to find American military uniform variant.

Short tailcoat tunic in heavyweight dark navy wool with rigid stand collar.
Three vertical rows of gilt metal ball buttons - bottom two buttons have been removed for a waist sash.
Rank chevrons to each sleeve, three ball buttons to each cuff.
Rear tails with ball buttons. Top row removed for waist sash.
White trousers.
