    Description

    This sale is for a wonderful,
    rare
    character collectible. This is a fabulous display piece of
    Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
    playing music and dancing together... truly
    an unusual estate find. I
    ts age, country of origin and maker are unknown to us. The owner of the estate from which it came had no information either, and we can find no hallmarks on the piece.
    In the original
    Grimm Brothers version, Snow White
    was depicted as having
    blonde hair
    but this was something that Walt Disney decided to change.
    Disney chose the tale of Snow White as the basis for his first full-length animated film, and in that film premiering in December of 1937
    , she was given raven black hair instead.
    We have been unable to find any trace of this particular display piece on eBay or on google, so we're unable to give you any specifics other than its size, weight and material. The piece measures about 15 inches long, 10 and 1/4 inches wide, 8 inches high. The material appears to be some kind of hard resin. The weight is 5 pounds.
