    Description

    This lot contains a cover carried on the first flight of Sir Alan Cobham in a de Havilland Moth plane from Washington D. C.
    Cover included:
    12/4/1926 Washington D.C. cancel with red and black printed cachet and additional violet circular cachet.  The cover is initialed by Cobham.  It was serviced by Edward Warden and has additional franking on the reverse forwarding the cover.  The flight is listed in Volume 5 of the 6th Edition of the AAMC as U.S. Souvenir Flight 567c.  The cover has a tucked flap.
    Condition is as shown in the pics.  The cover show minimal toning and is in quite nice shape.
