Here is a very nice trick Spark Plug gapper tool.  This unit is CNC machined and anodized.  Very popular tool for the drag racer, especially, top fuel or a-fuel nitro teams that run 16 plugs per 1/4 mile or 1000 foot pass.  The plug is simply dropped into the tool (not screwed in) and the threaded t-bolt is turned to put pressure on the electrode.  Your feeler gauge is used to set the desired gap.  This tool can be mounted in a vice, or used on a table, or in your hand.  The base is machined to register nicely into a vise.
