Vintage Ceylon Carved Ebony Wood Silver Kandy Elephant

Description

These were hand made in Ceylon circa 1900-1940.
It is  carved wood with a silver metal saddle .
The saddle may be sterling, plate or nickel.
It measures 5 3/4" tall, 5 1/2" long and approximately  2 1/4" wide .
These are particular to Ceylon but have a similar look to the Elephants of Hannibal
