Vintage Green Iridescent Beetle Specimen Encased In Half Dome Resin Paperweight.

As you can see there are some scratches on it, but they are mostly on the bottom. (I have never attempted to clean it up or fill the scratches.) But if this is for education purposes, or just as something cool to own, it is an awesome piece!
The way the color changes on this beetle is really amazing. I am not sure what kind of beetle it is [looks to be either a (unicorn or black stripe) green rose chafer beetle or green rhino beetle].
No matter what kind it is, this piece lets you get very close to inspect/appreciate it without getting too scared. From education purposes to a gift for someone who appreciates taxidermy or insects, this paperweight is awesome. Guessing it is from the 1990’s.———————————————————————————
