INSPIRED BY DISNEY PETER PAN CHARACTERS
I am estimating that this is from the 1950s.  Made in Japan, this china figurine depicts a blonde-haired fairy or pixie girl, very similar to Tinkerbell.  She has dainty tulle(mesh~stocking material) wings with little spots of glitter.  The fairy is seated on a flower petal or lily pad.  There is a tiny bit of applied spaghetti material.  This sweet vintage collectible measures approximately 3 1/2" x 2 1/4" and sits 3" high.  Marked in red ink on the bottom, "Japan."  I do believe that this was made by a company called "Wales" and once had a paper label.  I have not attempted to clean this nor rearrange the wings for this is a very delicate piece.  NO Cracks or Chips.
