WWII British Merchant Navy officer's bullion cap badge on full mohair cap band

Description

A lovely quality piece in bullion wire with red velvet center and metal crown (probably silver gilt). Ed Stilwell and Son maker mark on the reverse (they were active from the late 19th century and ceased trading about 1957).

Buyer pays US for standard airmail postage or for registered mail outside the UK. Postage within the UK is . Registered airmail is much safer since it allows tracking of packages and compensation in the event of loss. For high value items and certain destinations with unreliable postal systems I will only ship under registered airmail.
I am always willing to combine postage on multiple wins.
