The INDIANA JONES OF EBAY does it again !!...........I have managed to  purchase  THREE militaria collections.....&  TWO Police collections.....mainly patches, badges,insignia & headgear.
AND I  have managed to obtain DIRECT from the STORES some RARE WWII UNISSUED ITEMS.......

This item is  a SINGLE   tan cotton corduruy material with  padded cream coloured inner.
These were issued to the  Colonial Forces ( Sepoy's, Seikh's , Bengal Lancer's etc to wear , so that when the turban was worn atop these 'cones' the display would be a uniform height / size etc...like looking at a Regiment of Guardsmen wearing Bearskins.
I have managed to locate a small quantity of these that had remained unissued in the Stores.There are TWO slight  variants that will be listed seperately
#1 -1942 dated ...slightly smaller ventilation holes at the top
#2 -1943 dated ...slightly larger ventilation holes at the top
#3 -1944 dated ...slightly larger ventilation holes at the top

Both designs have Broad arrow /!\ Government WAR DEPARTMENT stamps , dated with   manufacturer ( some clearer than others- pic highlighted for clarity)The  markings do vary from item to item...but they are ALL genuine and some  have more/less stampings than others.
This is in  VERY nice ISSUED condition .(extra pics on request). please note  pattern might vary  slightly from that shown
A splendid attition to ANY collection . Original items for LESS than  some dealers sell copies.
